Rescue Navigation

Rescue Navigation is a digital rescue navigation system offered by the German company Favendo for large industrial facilities. It reliably guides rescue workers to the person seeking help, even under the most difficult conditions. Rescue Navigation also guides people seeking help in real time on the shortest and safest escape route in and out of buildings and on large industrial areas in safety. The output is made via digital directional control systems or can be made via smart devices. Rescue Navigation is located at the interface between indoor navigation and person tracking. The system tracks the position of each user at all times and guides emergency services to helpless targets or to the scene of an accident in the fastest and safest way possible. Unlike conventional systems, it is not necessary for a person in an emergency situation to actively make an emergency call in order to determine the position.
A combined indoor and outdoor navigation system guides affected persons to the vanishing point in the safest possible way. The system reacts in real time to changed conditions and continuously recalculates the escape route. When the employee reaches a defined rescue point, the system automatically detects this via geofencing and proximity and reports the employee “safe”.
